When it comes to beliefs, it's easier said than done

"Little Boy", a film about war from a child's perspective. The pictures of the film are beautiful every second, always filled with soft and warm light, as if rendered by the innocence of children. Faith, I think the theme of this movie is these two words. It is not the success that makes the faith firm, but the persistence after repeated failures and despair that makes the faith more valuable. Maybe the ending of the movie is beyond our expectations, or someone may have guessed the ending, but no matter which country, the damage caused by the war is far more cruel than the movie. The movie is not a war movie, but a war as the background, telling people to live with faith, if you lose faith in yourself and life, it is better to live than to die; on the contrary, to have hope in everything and be full of life at all times. Desire, even if you go to the gate of hell, you can still live.

Too deliberate, every sensational point is dealt with too hard, but a bit distorted

Little Boy quotes

  • Pepper Flynt Busbee: Why did they send you away to the camps?

Emma Busbee: Pepper, that is not the kind of question you ask.

Hashimoto: Mrs. Busbee, it's okay. It's simple. I have the face of the enemy. Doesn't matter if this is my home. Doesn't matter if I love this land, this country.

  • Hashimoto: So, tell me, Ollie, what happens when your imaginary friend works in his mysterious ways and his father dies?

Fr. Crispin: Then my imaginary friend will also help him through it.

Hashimoto: Tell the kid to stop. If he doesn't, he could lose faith in himself. That's what you should be worrying about.
