The oil painting-like aesthetic style of this film is more classical than the primitive and dull "Lazzaro of Happiness", and the depiction of family relationships is delicate but not procrastinated, which is more appealing to me than "The Thief's Family". Ceylon's previous works were very reconstructed, but in "Hibernation" and "Wild Pear Tree", they put more emphasis on creating atmosphere with light and color, and the techniques became more and more skilled. Unfortunately, some of the passages shot with DJI osmo made me dance a bit.
