I'm here to complain about the dubbing, whether it's Mandarin or Cantonese.

I don't know if you feel this way. No matter what movie you watch, you like the original flavor. If you don't like it, because the region is different, the dubbing is used, which makes the sound of the whole movie incoherent, which is very unpleasant. Remember the foreign movies dubbed in Mandarin by Central 6?
Because I am Cantonese, I naturally like the Cantonese version, but after I finally found the Cantonese version and read it, I found that the Cantonese version is not as good as the Mandarin dubbing to a certain extent.
The main reason is that I can't hear any emotion from the speaker at all in the Japanese segment, just reading the lines mechanically. Especially the part at the beginning in Kyoto University, as well as the dialogue just before Fujita killed Akutagawa Ryuichi. There are also many parts of ordinary Cantonese dialogue that are not emotional, except for the lines that are originally spoken by Hong Kong people themselves. There is also Photon's voice. I don't know if the Japanese lines that Photon said were spoken by herself. It's not that his voice is not good, but the Mandarin version of Photon's dubbing is so good.
In fact, I really want to see all the movies like the Shinjuku incident, where the story requires a different language, and the actors in it speak different languages. Some Shanghainese speak Shanghainese, Fujianese speak Hokkien, Qian Jiale who plays Hong Konger speaks Cantonese, Jackie Chan speaks Mandarin, and the Japanese speak Japanese. In fact, as long as there are subtitles, even though I don’t understand it, it’s better than dubbing. After that, the mouth shape is not right.
