It's a big production, and it feels good. The first three episodes are very capable, and I am thrilled. The last few episodes are a little bit stretched, but it's okay. The levels in the later episodes are a bit too simple, and they are more about sorting out the relationship between the seashore.
I just fell in love with the American drama style at the beginning of the first episode, and Life and Death and Horse Face Hunter are also very exciting. The ingenious post-apocalyptic survival game is eye-catching. Later, the level of hearts was a test of human nature and I really loved it.
At first, I thought that the main storyline was a poker game caused by supernatural phenomena intervened by unknown alien forces, and I also laughed at the screenwriters for their lack of creativity, but I never imagined that it was the power of technology.
According to the plot, we can know that the entire game process is arranged by manpower.
But this setting also left suspense to the audience:
1. Who is the force behind it? from where? Why only do it within Tokyo? What is his purpose?
2. Why does the head of the mastermind behind the scenes always work for him? It stands to reason that the large-scale disappearance of people in Tokyo should have caused the police to investigate, and it will not be as calm as it is now.
3. If this is a virtual time and space where you don’t need to worry about other issues, and there are no policemen and detectives, then the setting proposed at the beginning of “Alice”, for example, chip electronic products cannot be used, but old-fashioned products can be used. Why is a class so logical?
Maybe these pits will be revealed in the second season, but I feel that in the future, the plot should be about Arisu and his friends all the way through and destroying the base camp of the mastermind behind the scenes, and then successfully escaped and returned to the real world.
On the contrary, if it is such a plot flow, then the existence of the seaside is meaningless. At the end of the game, most of the seaside people died, and some of the main plot characters died, which only led to the artificial control of the game. But such a small setting should not be paved with a large plot. So I feel a little stretched, looking forward to the reversal of the second season.
