Sometimes having a healthy family doesn't mean getting enough love, but a child without a family may get the love of the world. Of course, these two are relatively small probability events, but I belong to the former.
There are a few scenes in the play that hit my heart. First, Zucchini accidentally dropped the beer bottle from the attic, watched her mother climb up in fear, and apologized in a panic. The last resort was to close the door so that his mother had an accident. One of the manifestations of lack of love since childhood is fear. Not just the fear of blame, but the fear of losing the love you didn't have.
Second, a little boy at the ski resort was misunderstood and stole his goggles. He explained in a panic: My mother died and my father went to prison. I didn't lie. He didn't even know who to turn to for help. Our hearts tend to be smashed to smithereens before we have grown enough to resist the malice of the world and have love behind us.
Third, when Simon received a letter from his mother, he hid under the stairs and did not dare to dismantle it. Even though he knew that his drug-addicted parents didn't love him, he still couldn't help but have expectations for his parents. In the end, when I opened the envelope, there was not a word in it, and the loss made me feel so distressed.
Finally, the child in the orphanage asked the teacher if he would never give up his child. Even if he is ugly? Even if he smells bad? Even if he cried non-stop? Even if he wets the bed? Even if he has bad grades? Even if he is stupid? Even if he eats like a pig? Even if he forgot his name? And smelly feet? Even if he was unbearable and kept yelling? Even if he farts? Even if he scribbles on the wall? Even if he wanted to be a policeman? Since he's a piece of shit? Even if he has a giraffe neck?
Among the reasons we thought were trivial was the greatest reflection on themselves they could find. You know what cruelty is, they are right to worry. Adults don't love a person anymore, that is, his grades are bad, he has a long neck, he is not tall enough, he is a waste. It's just that this situation shouldn't apply to your own children.
