Although the pace is slow, once you see it, it is very catchy.
There is a lot of tension in the characters and plot. Also with suspense fan.
After reading it, you have to think for a quarter of an hour, pull it back and re-read the lines, and then you can understand the motives of the characters' actions. There is something in every sentence.
This one is very good, it can be classified as a high IQ movie.
The following is the result of my speculation on the mystery.
1. Anka knows that Mike has feelings for him, and he likes Mike too. Anka knew that she was not Mike's biological child, and expected that her mother's letter would tell her about it, but she could not be 100% sure, so she chose to forge a letter instead of opening it to confess to Mike. In addition, in case of rejection, it also leaves a way out for the father-daughter relationship. "Original letter" means to restore the original.
2. The father realized that he and Anka had feelings for each other, but he didn't want to change the relationship between the two, so he simply let Anka read the letter and took this opportunity to reject her completely.
3. Both of them knew that they had feelings for each other, and also guessed the general content of the letter in advance. The only difference was that Anka thought that Mike wanted to confess and change the relationship, but it was the opposite.
4. The role of strangers is to reconcile the dramatic conflict between father and daughter. On the surface, it is a relief, but in fact, it creates momentum for the next round of tension.
