Recently, I really wanted to watch Japanese comics, so I found "Rurouni Kenshin" in 2012.
That era in Japan was quite interesting, and many characters were born. Based on the fact that I haven't read the comics and animations, I thought this live-action version would feel uncomfortable, but in the end I was completely attracted by its beautiful pictures and dynamic soundtrack.
I really like the character setting of Hiicura Kenshin, the ponytail on the head, the "X" scar on the face, the fighting is hearty and neat, but in normal times it is a sluggish appearance, I like them very much. His return was unbearable, but he accidentally affected the people around him.
When the protagonist fights, he is always so pretentious and cool. The landing is like Iron Man, always in the same posture. The acting skills of the actors are very good and have a sense of substitution.
I always thought this type of movie was boring, so I haven't watched it. It's still a good sci-fi blockbuster in Europe and America, but I stopped to watch it for a while, and was completely attracted by it. I watched two of them one after another.
It is a qualified comic book movie, a samurai movie that just passed. As a movie based on comics, Rurouni Kenshin is very good, but as a pure samurai movie, there is still a big gap. I am used to watching it. "Zatoichi" series, you will know.
All in all, this movie is still refreshing, and a very good comic book movie.
