(Spoiler) Is distance the worst enemy of love? What is certain is that "distance" is a common element in love movies; it can be concrete or abstract-the so-called "the furthest distance in the world is that I am in front of you...".
The two recent romance films "The Fate Is Not My Girlfriend" and "The Love of 10,000 Kilometers" both involve the bridge between lovers. In comparison, the former focuses more on psychological barriers and creates a romantic feeling from it; the latter is realistic Describe the love across the ocean and tell a sad story.
The opposite of distance is the intimacy of sex, which also occupies an important position in the two plays. "Love" starts from the bed, showing the intimacy of the two protagonists; finally ends with a failed sex, cruelly pointing out the emotional estrangement created by physical distance, which cannot be restored through physical reattachment. "Fate" is the opposite of other free and open Western romance movies. Although sex is a topic of daily life, the action is constantly postponed, conservative and romantic. The protagonist Daniel Radcliffe has worked hard to get rid of the image of "Harry Potter" in recent years, but he still has the shadow of Harry Potter in "Fate": under the fence, he is full of potential but is at a low point in his life. His British qualities can be said to be a kind of "cultural distance", which is used to contrast with the open North American culture. Against the backdrop of other aggressive and active male characters, his prudence turned into charm, and he wandered in the ambiguous zone of "not full lovers" with the heroine.
The opposite of "the furthest distance" is actually "you are in front of me, and I pretend not to know that you love me." Later, the heroine expressed his heart, and the scene where the heroine suddenly turned his face was a bit far-fetched. However, the importance of the sense of distance may help explain the turning point: the man’s activeness makes the woman think that he is like other men, so the ambiguity follows "distance." Disappeared together.
When the truth is revealed, there is no romance at all. Distance may not be the enemy of love, but romance may not be the friend of love.
