When I first saw the name of this movie, I thought it was another American theme film that was fictitious due to Americans’ persecution paranoia, showing the American people’s fight against terrorism: The police were frustrated when the film began. At the end, the protagonist, with the protagonist's halo, successfully rescued the local American people from the hands of terrorists and became the hero of the people. At the same time, he gained the love of beautiful women and the recognition of super-big people, and he was about to reach the peak of life.

At the beginning of the film, there are several groups of characters waiting one after another: the wife and the husband who always corrects her accent, the female student who studies the mechanical dog and the young male police officer, the poor policeman and his wife, and the young Chinese male with the video of his parents, and the young Muslim brother. One family, the old police officers in the outskirts of the community, they are all showing their daily day, calm and unrelated, and have nothing to do with each other.

Before the Chinese youth appeared on the stage, I did not realize the special features of this film. Until I saw the subtitles that appeared along with the voices of Chinese youths: 6:34 in the morning, 3 hours before the start of the marathon, and after the Muslim Brothers’ family, it suddenly appeared in my mind that I saw those terrifying and chaotic in the news a few years ago. The screen finally realized that this is not a fictional movie, but a movie adapted from the real incident of the 2013 Boston Marathon terrorist attack.

As the plot progressed, the unrelated characters gradually gathered near the marathon track: the police went to maintain order on the scene, the couple went to watch the race, and the Muslim brothers waited for the opportunity with bombs beside the track. People in the news should know what will happen between them next.

Female students and young male police officers, young Chinese men, and old police officers are still on their own tracks and lead a peaceful life. Although they learned about the Boston Marathon bombing from the news and other channels, they seem to be unrelated and they are still together. Be quiet.

The beautiful scenes are all paving the way for the tragedy that follows, so the more you see the young police officer and the Chinese youth talking happily with their favorite girl, the more nervous they are, and they don't know what they will experience when they just tasted the sweetness of love. Their faces are about joy, and my heart is about tangled.

Sure enough, the young police officer had just made an appointment with the girl to watch a concert during the day. When he was on duty at night, he was attacked and killed by a fleeing terrorist. The Chinese youth’s car was also taken away by the terrorists, and he was taken hostage. Carry out the next terrorist operation to New York.

And here is also the most thrilling moment of the whole movie. The Chinese youth successfully escaped the control of terrorists and successfully called the police, providing powerful clues to the police. After that, the story also reached a climax. The police finally arrested the fleeing terrorist and successfully prevented another tragedy.

What moved me most in the movie was not the final victory, the scene of the survivors’ embrace, but the day after the explosion, the body of the 8-year-old boy who died in the explosion was transported away, guarding his police officer and all the personnel on duty. Say goodbye to him. After the explosion, because the boy may have bomb fragments on his body, it would be a strong evidence. In order to prevent the scene from being destroyed, his body has been left at the scene, on the cold ground.

He is the victim of the bombing, but the "hero" of the bombing. Because his police can grasp the intelligence of terrorists, when his body was taken away, the police officer who guarded him paid tribute to him with tears in his eyes. All the on-site personnel saluted him and silently sent him away to rest in peace.

In this movie, the image of the police is no longer omnipotent, strong, and hard-hearted. They will also be vulnerable in the face of tragedy. They face the destruction of the city security of their lives, and face the loss of their lives. To one's loved ones, he may die, lose his sense of security, cry, become vulnerable, and collapse.

But they are also the defenders of the city’s security. Police of different levels and types of work quickly stood up after the terrorist attack, rescued the wounded, checked clues, and exerted their utmost ability to find clues to the perpetrators. They were methodical and intensive. After the incident, the terrorists were quickly targeted and successfully arrested.

There is another character in the film that impressed me deeply. She is the wife of the brother of the two terrorists. Her conversation with her brother before the brothers set off and her reaction after being arrested made me think that she might be the only one. Is the agitator of this incident.

The filming method of this movie has a special feature, that is, it uses lenses shot by many surveillance cameras. This is because at the time, the terrorists were locked through surveillance cameras. Before the bombing, terrorists appeared in the first surveillance camera. The atmosphere of the whole movie changed from the kind of excitement that the marathon was about to start to a very depressed and tense feeling.

At the end of the film, on the home court of the local football team, all police, ambulance personnel, etc. appeared on the stage to greet the people. In addition to recreating this scene, the film also used real records to show us the people involved in the bombing: police officers, FBI detectives, mayors, couples who lost their legs, Chinese youths... They were originally ordinary citizens of Boston. Suddenly an incident, they became the focus of the news. Terrorism, the original order of life was disrupted, and the sense of security was lost. They, including the residents of Boston, did not lose the courage to restart their lives.

Rebuilding life on the ruins, this kind of courage is a huge force in our human content, helping us to constantly re-stand up amidst natural and man-made disasters.
