I watched the midnight show, I was so sleepy, the long film review will be written tomorrow, here is a brief comment, some comments say why there is no revenge on the police, I think this is the essence of the value output of this film, or India political correctness. What Hollywood exports is the advanced, democratic, free paradise-like life and institutional superiority of the United States, while Bollywood is responsible for showing foreign countries that India is moving towards an American-style democracy and legal system, so it can expose some of the current corruption, Inequality, chaos and backwardness can also directly hit the audience with violence, but it is absolutely impossible for the police representing the Indian government to become a complete and beaten villain image. Moreover, the drama of this film lies in the fact that the male protagonist used the police to find no evidence to seek revenge, so the relative neutrality of the judiciary, that is, the modern judicial system based on evidence is the basic logical foothold of this film. In reality, it may actually be darker, that is, the police will not dare to arrest the male protagonist because they are afraid of the media and public opinion. But Indian officials obviously will not show such a darker Indian society.
