Political movie? This is a realistic Godzilla

Many people have to see some political metaphors and satires in the movie, such as the inefficiency of bureaucracy, the anxiety of the Japanese after the war, the oppression of major powers, the shadow of nuclear weapons, the director's political inclination... Brother admires the five bodies, did you come to watch a movie or to take an ideological and political class?

These elements mentioned above are, but not the most important, because these elements exist in the real society at all. Since this is a realistic movie, it is normal for these plots to appear, but he is not the theme of the movie.

Why do I say it's realistic? Maybe many people are used to watching movies like monster fights, Ultraman saving the world, Hollywood-style personal heroism, boys and girls' final weapons, and so on. Seeing such a perspective focused on the government, the monster shots have not yet been seen. Movies with many prime ministers are not very happy. The monsters that are said to be good are garbage! What about Ultraman, rubbish! What about the savior of the beautiful father, rubbish! Just watching a group of old men quarreling in a meeting, what a rubbish movie, a waste of time!

In fact, I think that this approach to reality is the charm of this movie. There is no secret weapon, no Gundam, no Ultraman. The power of human weapons varies from low to high, from machine guns to missiles to tank guns to nuclear bombs. Greeting monsters one by one, useless, what should I do? When the monster appeared, I saw how the government faced it, how various departments operated, how the troops fought, how the United Nations responded, how the United States, China, and Russia acted. When disaster strikes, the real human society, how to use all existing scientific and technological means to face Hard against Godzilla. In my opinion, this is more interesting than any secret weapon.

Finally, I pay tribute to the self-defense soldiers and crane truck drivers who died in the film. When disasters come, it is always these people who are on the front line who sacrifice in obscurity. They are real heroes.
