"Brian's Life" life is a joke

I find that I have always liked spoof things, nonsensical but thoughtful. I explored in literature, film and television, and painting, and sometimes I can meet in other people’s lives, just like Einstein’s hairstyle, Chaplin’s beard, and Monroe. Beauty mole. Of course, this is best not to rehearse in my own real life. I don't want to walk on the street honestly, and if I accidentally get recruited, my life will be empty from then on.

It doesn't matter whether it is a nasty trap or free lunch pies. Even if he has super powers and is worshipped by all creatures, he still has to reject this mysterious beauty. Who knows if like "Brian", there is only one dead end in the end, and I don't know if I am lucky or unlucky.

What I call Brian, he is the protagonist in the 1979 film "Brian's Life". Although the boy's name is a bit ordinary, his life trajectory is absolutely different. Because he was born in the same year, the same month and the same day as the Savior Messiah (that is, Jesus), not only that, Brian’s mother and the Virgin Mary are still hometowns, neighbors, living in adjacent stables, and the key to the problem lies in the three The prophet's "misidentification" must be very dramatic, which naturally led to the joking of "flying to the sky and then falling" when Brian was born.

This is definitely a wonderful title, coupled with Monty Python's Brian Song, a simple design that connects the past and the future, and is embellished with big truths about Brian's mother and the three prophets, which most directly evokes the desire to watch the film. Later, if you just think about it, you will know that Brian’s life cannot bypass the miracles that Jesus walked. It is a strange coincidence that this happy shit luck is about to subvert Brian’s peaceful life. If Brian is the representative of ordinary people, Then mankind has been spoofed, not the omnipotent savior.

Speaking of this, it is necessary to elicit the cold reception that this drama has suffered. It is a heinous sin to spoof the savior! In fact, this hat has a big buckle. Throughout the whole play, I am afraid that we can only recall the bitterness of mocking ourselves and the admiration of the wonderful dialogues.

On the one hand, we will see the shameless and shameless exposure of human “bad roots”; on the other hand, we will also see the unknown black hole of human nature that cannot be fully revealed by human beings. In other words, the profoundness of this play is that it mocks everyone, you and me, including the creators of the entire play. In short, people admire people, people play with people, people fight against people, and people cannibalize people. These are all things that people do and have nothing to do with God.

If it is necessary to deduce the imprint of insulting the Messiah, it is likely to sit in the heart of the film creator. I regard them as a group of people with a strong sense of social responsibility, and they are extremely disgusted with the ugly dark side of society and human beings. Then they may use the movie "Brian's Life" to criticize the Almighty God, because in reality it is difficult for a good person to be rewarded, and a kind, pure and honest person will always be a victim of being bullied and embarrassed.

But returning to the core of the problem, their spearhead still refers to human beings. The faith and spirit are implemented in the individual before the fission occurs. For example, the sentence that meat and wine pass through the heart of the Buddha, the sin is on the person, and it is innocent. The Messiah has been received for the generation of mankind.

As for the film's borrowing of Messiah's identity when telling the story, not only did it not tarnish his name, it simply praised him everywhere. This is a mirror. People really shouldn't just respect the private opinions that are reflected in their hearts and enlarge them. It's better to take another look at the ones they dismissed. Therefore, it cannot be denied that the whole play is so absurd, and the preaching of the real Messiah is very serious.

The Messiah said: "The sad, kind, righteous, and pure-hearted people will be blessed. They will be comforted, they will become the masters of the world, they will fulfill all their wishes, and they will know the Almighty Savior. ......" These are by no means appropriate teasing. Even if these words sound hollow and weak, they are the cornerstone for the proliferation of all mankind. The truth is self-evident, as long as there is good faith. Then, what happened to Brian was to get rid of the shadow of God from the soul of the plot, and simply told the turbid world of human misbehavior.

I always feel that the implication of the spoof is "please don't take it seriously". What's more, this movie is produced by the famous British comedy group Monty Python, especially by the geniuses Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones, which will inevitably present all kinds of extreme weird effects. There is nothing wrong with a serious spectator, but he is just awkward. Objectively speaking, as a religious person, you don't need to watch it. It is understandable to hear that this drama is a spoof of the savior's creativity.

However, there should be a difference in the treatment of art. The "collective power" can gather into a huge force that strangles art, which also proves the sorrow of "Brian's Life", such as blind obedience, arbitrariness, narrow-mindedness, self-interest, and so on. The same beautiful quality extends to all generations. This is of course proven by history. The film was indeed banned by the UK and other European countries. Still the same sentence, God is always the Almighty Lord, thinking carefully, Brian's tragedy has always been a manifestation of the filthy mankind himself.

In the end, I briefly return to the plot of "Brian's Life". The story is not complicated. To put it bluntly, it is the life of a fake Messiah, but it must be performed from a human standpoint, not the spirit of the scriptures. I This is understood, and I hope so. However, we have to admit that the story is not so clear and organized. This is obviously understandable. We have to admit that the history of Messiah is extremely complicated. At the same time, he must always help Brian to put himself in the right position. Based on this consideration, the film naturally intercepted several story fragments in the Bible, perhaps irrelevant, just based on evidence, experience the life of the savior in the flesh of the mortal Brian. The greatest joy is still in the criticism of "human nature". It reaches its depth from the British humorous performance and wise and straightforward lines.

Brian, who was abandoned by family, love, and friendship, has indeed performed a tragic realism throughout his life. But in the middle, Brian experienced a surreal aerospace sleepwalking, which intentionally weakened the pessimistic mood, so that the whole drama was always balanced on the "spoof" wire rope, and the auxiliary role was the breeze-like details. .

When Brian was tied to a cross and waited to be pardoned, it reached the climax of the whole show. Waves of people came, they left the spectators with unforgettable joy and thoughts. The suicide squad of The Judean people's Front is the most amazing, making people laugh out of breath. Even if Brian has no way to survive, he still looks happy. The inspirational song "Always look on the bright side of life" unknowingly washes away all the sadness. To add, the interior of the whole theater is not shabby, and you can make a good film without money.
