Review "Flesh and Spirit" is directed by Hungarian surrealist director Iltiko Inyetti, starring Alexandra Bolbey and Geza Mosanyi.
The two main characters, Maria and Ender, have the same dream every night. In the dream, there are male and female deer, two eccentric people with the same eccentric character, both are lonely people, the male lead is a solitary person, and the female lead is also a solitary person, they both seem to be isolated from the world. The heroine Maria came to the slaughterhouse to work as a quality inspector, and the hero Ender was the treasurer of the slaughterhouse. The love story of two people takes place in the blood-stained cattle slaughtering field, but the dream is beautiful and illusory, in which it is a male and a female deer.
The heroine Maria is a rigid person. She is conscientious and responsible for her work. She even rated all the beef that was basically the same as Grade B. When asked, she plausibly said, "The average fat is 2-3 mm, so fat Too much meat." Even for love, every time you go home, you should deduce the conversation between the two to find out which sentence can be reconsidered. So that the female protagonist can remember the first sentence, the second sentence, the third sentence, and even the seventeenth sentence of the first meeting with the male protagonist.
After watching "Flesh and Spirit", I found that the heroine is a refined lover. The director Iltico Inyetti narrates the love story of the hero and heroine in the dream story. Only by grasping this strange character can the audience continue to listen to the story. When the heroine encounters a temporary setback in love, she goes to A psychologist specializing in psychotherapy for children, and watching three series of pornographic videos in a row, in order to achieve good contact with the male protagonist of the dream deer lover in his heart.
As an old man, the male protagonist's daughter looks older than the female protagonist Maria, but when the male protagonist and the female protagonist had a theft incident in the factory, when they received a normal inquiry from a psychiatrist, they found out that the male and female protagonists both had sex every night. Having the same dream, the male and female deer in the dream evolve into two males and females in reality, which can be said to be a combination of the director's surrealism and fantasy. The male protagonist Ender also gradually changed from being withdrawn in his interactions with Maria. Because the male protagonist was disabled in one arm, he was rejected many times with women, resulting in a sign of rejection fear. And after falling in love with his former lover, Ender didn't want his lover to sleep at his house all night, so he asked his lover to take the last bus to leave.
The director made this film, it is estimated that he wanted to express the unity and separation of flesh and spirit. When Maria felt that her relationship with Ender might not be able to develop any more, she listened to the famous song What He Wrote by 20-year-old famous British singer Laura Marling. Suicide, the song is wonderful. "Forgive me, darling, can't stay, he interrupts me, has nothing to say, love me, he abandoned me, he laughed at my fault, I had to stay in his arms". Just as blood was gurgling from the bright red wrist, the male protagonist Ender called, Maria answered the call immediately, and immediately went to the hospital to get bandages, and then the happy ending, the male and female protagonists successfully had sex.
