His starring Benedict Cumberbatch showed Patrick's psychological activities and life very wonderfully, showing Patrick's life with penetrating acting skills. Patrick was sexually abused by his own husband when he was a child, but such a small child suffered pain that should not be endured at his age. The psychological shadow his father gave him can be said to have enveloped him for half of his life. Even as an adult, he was still in pain. His mother watched him indifferently, never cared about Patrick, and even forced him to kill himself when Patrick gradually came out of his psychological shadow, which was selfish. When Patrick grew up and got PTSD because of the shadows, he could only rely on alcohol, drugs and sex to close himself, and he kept hurting himself. He lived an untidy life and just wanted to stop suffering from the previous torture. Later, in conversations with others, he found out that he still has other people. Care, work hard to get out of the trauma, have a loving family and children. However, under the pressure of his mother, he chose to comfort his mother, and his emotions collapsed again and returned to the same days as before. His wife and children drifted away from him, so he chose to seek professional help, and with the mutual encouragement of the team and members, he conquered himself and succeeded. Get rid of PTSD and embark on the road to find his wife and children. At the end of the film, Patrick returns to his childhood and rejects his husband, which means he has completely come out of the shadows. Each of us may have some psychological problems, but as long as we face it bravely, we can usher in a new life, as his son said, "ideas are for change, life is the same, the sun rises as usual, I hope every day Could be a better day."
