Benedict's excellent performance and beautiful pictures undoubtedly dilute the cruelty and blood in the story. I kept thinking while watching it, what would I do if it were me? There is of course no definite answer to this completely fictional question, but I don't think I can do it better than him. It is really difficult to move forward while being hurt and betrayed by all the people close to you. Patrick's choice is to find love, which has a certain effect, but with the passage of time, the problems that were suppressed in childhood slowly surfaced. From the perspective of a bystander, it is easy to say that he made a mistake step by step, but if we take Patrick's position, we are afraid that we are not as good as him. Another point, maybe I didn't get other addictions just because I didn't have the financial strength. Although addiction itself is certainly not a good thing, it must be said that gaming addiction is really saving money (providing that you have some taste for games).
