taste of life

Just like the Japanese who cut the abdomen and need to find a suitable assistant, people of faith take death (suicide) extremely seriously. Buddy's process of finding the person who buried himself is a process of re-understanding life.
"All good things must return to the soil". There are often large tracts of land in the film lens, a grayish yellow, depressing and suffocating, portrayal of Buddy's gray mood of begging for death.
For the first 75 minutes of the film, Buddy basically sat in his car and didn't move much. In the last 20 minutes, Buddy left the car and the cage that imprisoned his life. His body moved, and so did his life.
At the end, the sound of thunder in the sky is the awakening of life, and it is the eulogy of life!

  • Mr. Badii: I don't want to give you a gun to kill me. I'm giving you a spade, a spade.

  • Mr. Bagheri: When you want to help someone, you have to do it properly, with all your heart. It's better... more just and more reasonable.
