Mr church always seems to be elegant, he cooks elegantly, reads elegantly, paints elegantly, plays the piano elegantly, even walks and dresses elegantly. It seems that he can mix all the elegant things in the world. Or, everything becomes elegant in the hands of Mr church.
Going back to the story, the theme of the story is about love and companionship. Mr church accepted a job to take care of the single mother's family and took care of the single mother's death. Doctors deduced that single-money mothers only have about six months to live, but did not expect this care to be six years. Six years later, the single mother died, her daughter went to college, and Mr church left. But the story is far from over here. Charlie (that is, the daughter) became pregnant unexpectedly, returned to her hometown, found Mr church again, and gave birth to her daughter smoothly. In this way, Mr church has accompanied three generations.
For the film itself, it seems that those difficulties and misfortunes are deliberately concealed, or just a brushstroke. Single mothers who were pregnant out of wedlock, Mr church who lacked love since childhood, including mothers suffering from cancer. The two funerals also seemed to present a harmonious atmosphere, and there was no sense of solemnity or sadness. The film is more of a feeling of warmth from the sun shining in.
