He loved her, he loved her to the core. She loves him, simply and plainly.
Last week, I watched Almodovar's famous "Tie Me, Tie Me."
It was a day when the temperature plummeted in November. When I went out in the morning, I wore my favorite red long sleeves. After school at noon, I went out of school and bought three lollipops and one ice cream. I love having soft and lingering ice cream when it's cold. Summer is destructive for them, and they will be hurriedly melted before they can taste it. Only this kind of weather can give them the long-stored taste.
When I got to the cinema, the ice cream had already been eaten. I bought a ticket, because there are not many people, so it is possible to sit casually. I took a seat in the middle of the second row, looked at my watch, and had a minute left.
Orphaned from the age of three, Ritchie has spent time in various social institutions. When he was released from the mental hospital at the age of twenty-three, he had only three wishes: to find a wife, to form a family, and to have a job—to live an ordinary life. Although immature, he knew that for him an ordinary life was a luxury that had to be earned through hard work. Life is hard, but you have to keep a good smile in the face of all the difficulties. Richie travels alone in the sea of people, and the world beyond the walls of the mental hospital is novel and full of senses for him. Now he is more like a free child, with no ability but a heart higher than the sky. "I'm 23 years old, I have fifty thousand pesetas (Spanish currency unit), and I'm alone in this world." With the only "property" and some petty theft, Rich began to plan his own life plan. He passed by an exquisite gift shop, he saw a nice box of chocolates and bought it without hesitation. Then he got on a bus and drove to the day he longed for in the future.
By chance on the set, he meets the beautiful porn actress Marina and falls in love at first sight. He decides that Marina is the wife of his life, and at the same time he makes a crazy decision: kidnap Marina. Then came a series of amusing and incomprehensible behavior: Richie followed Marina back to her apartment and entered her room, "hijacking her" in a panic of Marina. In the days that followed, every day, Richie worked hard to become Marina's husband and a good father to her future children. It's just hilarious how he expresses and pursues love, tying Marina to the bed with ropes and gluing her mouth so she can't move or call. Marina tried to struggle, but failed to escape several times. "I love you, and I want you to love me like I love you," Richie tried to explain how stupid Marina's escape seemed to him. When she had a toothache, he accompanied her to the doctor, he went to the black market in the square to buy painkillers for her, he painted a beautiful portrait of her while she was sleeping, and she prepared a good breakfast for her ...
He can take care of her, even if he can't give her everything she wants right now. He was cruel, Marina was in excruciating pain every day under house arrest, lost contact with the set, and her sister tried her best to find her. He's shameless, he forced her to call her mother and say she's fine, she's on vacation now, and she'll be back soon. He is selfish, he wants to take her for himself. But he thinks that's what love is, if you don't love bravely, you won't know what's going to happen next, what love really means. He longs to be understood, but no one sees his humble love.
In the end, his ardent love still hurts himself. Once I went to the square to buy medicine, I was beaten and bruised all over my body, and was brutally still on the street at midnight. But he still staggered back to Marina's apartment, still feeling how worth it all, for the people he loves. When he stood in front of her covered in scars, her heart seemed to be stabbed by a sharp blade. At this moment, she finally realized his fiery love, which burned his proud and indomitable self and melted her. A heart that has been frozen and wounded. She wiped his wounds, she kissed him, hugged her. They have sex madly, madly feeling the thirst for love. It can't be said that he and she finally trust and have sex with each other, but at least he and she have experienced the feeling of paying for each other, and at least she understands that he loves her.
He said Xiang would take her back to his hometown, but while he was out looking for a car, Marina was spotted by her sister and escaped from the apartment. Lost him, lost him. When he finally returned to his hometown, he sat on the roof and looked at the beautiful sunset in the distance, with layers of waves in his heart. Then he saw a familiar vehicle approaching in the distance, and a beautiful woman stepped down from the car...
Almodovar's films often appear in filming scenes, and this film uses a lot when introducing the heroine. The film recounts the set she worked on, her assistants, and her director. Even if these elements do not play an important role in the whole film, the master still spares no effort to render them, which is completely the inherent romance of Spanish cinema. You can
say it 's rambling, it's piecemeal, or you can say it wastes film, whets the audience's appetite, and so on. But you can't deny that you do feel the romance. This kind of romance is exaggerated layer by layer, it is not as strong and abrupt as the French movies, nor the classic moving looks from American movies. This kind of romance cannot be defined, it may not be assigned to love, it may be a romantic life modality or other things seen and heard.
Look at Antonio Banderas again, his performance is truly delightful. Isn't Richie the little tramp who sees the world with his childishness? He naively roamed the world, naively longing for unrealistic ideas, and then naively pursuing them. The good news is that God favors such a naive boy. After suffering, he finally succeeded in capturing love. Antonio also showed Richie's rudeness and loneliness vividly. You can't see the slightest trace of artificiality. It's a true performance. People should see this from the characters he created, that all those who advocate freedom and love life will have a good life, and all sincere and kind love will have a happy ending. We always have a peaceful and positive attitude towards our current life. Life is always developing in a good direction. God cares for everyone who knows how to cherish and have mercy.
I watched the whole movie with gratitude and joy, it's as romantic as chocolate ice cream in winter, the more you taste, the better it tastes. When watching Spanish films, don't expect the plot twists and turns or the rhythm to be tight. Look at them, watch them, and understand them with an ordinary and witty attitude. Look at the beautiful scenery in other places, beautiful people and things are enough. Maybe it might make you sleep in the movie theater for a while, or it might make you feel sad and independent about women. But either way, it's worth the experience. Especially when you see something, you will feel the value of this experience.
Maybe a beautiful love is so indescribable.
