On a whim, I suddenly wanted to watch a movie at night, so I turned to "Train to Busan 2" by accident. When the movie first came out, many viewers said it was a bad movie and analyzed it from many aspects.
I would like to mainly talk about the good points of the film and the bad points one-sidedly.
There are many overhead shots of large scenes, and the lighting and layout are like that. It's very similar to the abandoned city in the "Resident Evil" series I watched before. The zombies in the corner of the building where the original male protagonist just landed became the helper who finally defeated the captain of Unit 361. This is a foreshadowing.
I think the characters in the film are well established, and when a new character appears, it will immediately shape the character of this character. For example, you say that the male protagonist is sleeping in a rotten house in Hong Kong and someone pulls him to meet their boss, and the male protagonist directly knocks down the two of them, which means that he has a bad temper. Another 361 captain took the tip of an iron stick and pierced the head of a zombie that was about to turn into a zombie as soon as he came on the field. I find the characters interesting. The male protagonist didn't take his mother's child four years ago, and he met his mother's family again four years later. Although it is a coincidence, I feel that it is similar to the zombie in the corner of the building and echoes the previous beginning.
In the end, when my mother picked up the gun and was about to commit suicide, I suddenly thought of the death of my father at the end of "Train to Busan 1". Did "Train to Busan 2" let my mother die? In the end, just when I thought the director's idea was quite interesting, the male protagonist actually saved his mother. This place is something I don't agree with in my mind. I think it would be better if my mother died. Although the audience loves to see the perfect ending. But what you are watching is a disaster film, and since it is a disaster film, there will be unpredictable accidents. Like I said just now, if a mother sacrificed for her child, it would be like the father sacrificed for her child in "Train to Busan 1", and it may be more tearful and make me feel more emotional.
