I went to watch the sequel of "Train to Busan" specially today. Under the high expectations of the previous work, "Train to Busan 2: Peninsula" did not give me the viewing experience as expected. The shooting arrangement of the whole film is really too compact, just like the sad scene after the protagonist's sister and nephew were infected by zombies at the beginning, in my opinion, there is a very cramped taste. Less than 2 minutes into the opening, the audience has not yet assumed the role, and the role of my sister has not provided much foreshadowing. The whole sad scene, at least in my opinion, has no fluctuations. So an emotionally rendered shot that leaves the audience unwavering speaks for itself to a certain degree of inadequacy in the film. Similarly, compared to the sense of despair over the spread of the zombie virus in "Train to Busan 1", the sense of powerlessness and the oppression of layers of persecution make people's heart beat faster until the final cure. The words of "Train to Busan 2" are too much description of the struggle between the survivors, and the excitement is exciting enough, but in terms of the level of tension and horror, "Train to Busan 2: Peninsula" is really poor. It's not that I deliberately compare 1 and 2, but the expectation of the same name caused by it, "Train to Busan 2: Peninsula" does have to bear the corresponding expectation. more general.
