Before reading this film review, I will first throw out a Buddhist thought of "birth, old age, sickness, death, resentment and hatred, separation of love, lack of desire, and prosperity of the five aggregates". It's really exciting to make a Buddhist-related film and show it at the feet of Benedict XVI.
Now let's enter the movie. There are not many movie characters, and the supporting roles are weakened to almost no impression.
"Birth"
From the perspective of fertility, what Queen A faces is the "suffering of birth". Under the premise that "with birth, there is death", she sacrificed her husband and welcomed her own son. At the same time, the maid also gave birth to a son, and most of her "birth" is to survive and live.
The "old"
cotton mill sisters have wonderful singing voices, but they are already old women, but they still seduce the lecherous King B. My elder sister rubbed the skin, glued the folds, and did all the physical experiments I could think of to make myself younger. Successfully boarded the emperor's couch, but was thrown out by the curious emperor. That is, this throw, let my sister get rid of the "suffering of old age" and embark on the peak of life. And my sister, still suffering, suffering to the point of being sick.
"Sickness"
is usually a physical illness, although there are more mental illnesses in the film. Then who is sick, the good-faced King C and his fleas. The prince and the pauper, the sons of the sea monsters, could breathe underwater, and their complexion was sickly white, albino white. (It is not discrimination) The physical face is obvious, but there are too many psychological face-to-face face-to-face, and the students who are interested can find out for themselves when watching the movie.
"Death"
is death, and King A is dead, and everyone accepts it. Empress Liaozi was not unhappy, because his death relieved the "suffering of life". But good-faced King C's flea is dead, and that's terrific. Sad good-faced King C decides to marry off the princess who loves listening to Xiaohuangshu after his pet flea dies. In the literary test, the question is who can recognize the flea skin. A monster guessed, because the good-faced King C is good-faced, and the princess married the monster.
"Hate Club"
The monster lived in the cave and didn't give the princess a chance to escape at all. The princess who loved to listen to Xiao Huangshu was deeply resentful of Zenghui, and then she hated until she killed the monster with her own hands and returned to her kingdom.
"Love Farewell"
twin prince and pauper, Queen Lianzi does not agree with the prince and pauper making friends, although they look exactly the same. The assassination of the married queen caused the poor to leave the city and wander far away. And made a promise with the prince that if the spring water became cloudy, he would need his help, and the twin prince and the poor broke up like this. Of course the poor are in trouble, and the prince goes to the rescue. Queen Koriko couldn't find her son, made a deal with the wizard, and when the demon she incarnated was about to kill the poor, the prince came. She found her son as she wished, but the prince apparently had no impression of the demon in front of him, and the prince pierced the demon. Solved the "suffering pain of parting love" between himself and the queen.
"I can't beg" the
lecherous king B lived a life like King Zhou of Shang all day long, but the beauty still couldn't satisfy his desires until he heard the singing of the cotton mill sisters, and the lecherous king who was infatuated by the song entangled with jewels and love words The cotton mill sisters, lust tormented him constantly. In the end, he was still swayed by him, but unfortunately he couldn't accept the reality, which was not what he wanted at all. After her sister was thrown out, she became a girl, and happened to meet the lecherous King B to hunt, and became Queen B with her beauty. Rejuvenating Queen B invited her younger sister. The younger sister saw the younger sister and learned that the younger sister was only skinned to become young, so she searched for Tony, the barber, but Tony rejected her. The blacksmith Hans was found again, and Hans flayed her, and she did not get younger. There are also monsters who "can't ask for", and the monsters gave their lives.
There is no need to repeat these " five
aggregates", feelings, thoughts, actions, and consciousness. Some students will say that there are "three poisons" and "five precepts" in the movie, and these are left to the students to write.
This movie is given nine points, it is worth recommending, and the original book is not discussed.
In general, the director Matteo Galloni still has the guts and the ability to play a film with Buddhist thoughts at the foot of the Vatican.
