I think that although this book is only the author's imagination, I have no doubts about the dog's emotions. I believe that there are many such loving and loyal dogs in reality who have always been loyal to their owners. But thinking about how many people treat dogs in our real life, I really feel cold. The reported cases of killing and eating dogs are not uncommon, not to mention how many are not reported. I really don't understand, there are so many things to eat in the world, why do you have to eat these dogs who rely on humans? Why can't their loyalty be rewarded?
