The story is very simple. Johnny had to leave the university and return to the countryside to run a farm that he had no interest in because of his father's illness. He was frustrated and depressed every night to get drunk and have fun, and his life had no direction. During the busy sheep farrowing season, the farm invited Romanian immigrant Gheorghe to help. Johnny saw his bearded face and thought he was Pakistani at first, and then scorned him as a gypsy.
Johnny rejects immigrants, Gheorghe disdains decadent youth, and the two people's lives start in the daily life that is not pleasing to each other... The change comes from little trivial things: Gheorghe takes care of premature lambs in every possible way, Gheorghe is rich in animal husbandry technology The right-hand man, Gheorghe, outside of Johnny's usual farm, takes him to a different dazzling view behind the mountains... and the tall, muscular Gheorghe always attracts Johnny's eyes - and desires. Everything happened suddenly, just like the accumulation of buds in winter and the spring breeze suddenly blooms, and love comes gracefully...
The appearance of Gheorghe made Johnny's mind withdraw from the unrealistic distance, re-examine the farm life that he was always tired of, and found all kinds of pleasures that he had ignored in the past, which also made his life interesting.
However, when his father suffered a second stroke and the burden came, Johnny was confused and overwhelmed, and he was hit by drinking and messing in the pub. When Gheorghe found out, he angrily chose to leave.
All the time, Johnny screwed things up. This time, he was overcome with pain and decided to take his responsibility and get Gheorghe back...
What attracted me to this film was not only the rhythm of the film's eloquent narrative. What fascinated me even more was the display of animal husbandry techniques~ Especially after a lamb died, Gheorghe personally peeled off the skin of the corpse and put it on the premature lamb he had been caring for. At first, I was surprised by Gheorghe's cruelty, but when I saw that he had good intentions, I couldn't help laughing when I was warmed up~
Gheorghe's carefulness and gentleness doesn't stop there. There is a scene in the film that I watched many times. The two return to the farm from the mountain. Gheorghe declined Johnny's invitation to stay at home, and went back to the trailer to avoid suspicion. Facing the reluctant Johnny, Gheorghe stroked his cheek with his fingertips, followed by a kiss, slowly dispelling Johnny's displeasure. There was no dialogue in the whole process, but the love and affection came out of the screen from the two's little trailer... And what moved me the most was that Gheorghe obviously had power, but all this power turned into touches and kisses, just for that The person he loves is like a tiger sniffing roses, very gentle.
