JSA Joint Security Area, 2000 Lee Byung-hun movie.
It tells the story of the fragile friendship forged privately by North and South Korean soldiers on duty on both sides of the 38th parallel. The southern soldier played by Lee Byung-hun was rescued by the northern soldier because he stepped on a landmine. So he flew letters and passed the book, thinking of the other party as a big brother, and gave him the daily necessities that were lacking in the north. In the tense and boring military life, they look forward to meeting at night, chatting, drinking, listening to music, playing games, reading magazines, and eating. Psychological dependence and trust were established, but the good times did not last long. A sudden attack and Li Bingxian's upcoming discharge from the army made them agree to meet again to celebrate their birthday and say goodbye. Uncertainly about the future, they were met by other northern officers during the gathering, and they killed the intruders and their friends.
