It is easier to have a sense of trust between men, and they must be cordial, which is more like the default rule of two responsible persons. This is worth admiring. Ang Lee is very good at portraying this kind of tacit understanding between people with a sense of distance, even though the subject matter is very westernized. "Making Woodstock" is more like a sketch for him to relax. The language is funny and full of surprises, which is very different from the rigorous and self-repressed style of his previous works. For those who are used to only eating meals every day, it is also good to have an occasional afternoon tea~
