Why do hippies often use the word universe?

The gigantic unit of space, the "universe", is mentioned several times in the Hippie and Cosmic movies. The self-recognition process of the protagonist also has the meaning of placing the concept that life cannot be let down in the cosmic unit for consideration. The most impressive shot is the shot after 8 miles high, the concert scene is like the Milky Way, the center is glowing, the whole crowd floats gently like the waves, the shot is so beautiful, who wouldn't want to experience that? Music, weed, is like the center of the spiritual universe, he gently releases a substance that makes the entire physical entity beat with it. It seems to be the only line comment in the whole film that I don't understand very well. (From what the female assistant wearing a hat said by the mud pit) On the story level, the protagonist's family has experienced the extreme dreamy experience of rich and poor, and the easy access to money further accentuates the dreamy temperament brought by the hippies in the whole movie.

Perhaps for hippies, taking the universe as a unit of measurement, everything they do can be enjoying the moment. So when interviewing the toilet cleaner, he said that it would be good for his son to come back from the Vietnam War! Compared with war, of course it is better. But the film did not see the true core of hippie.

Probably not (Easy Rider) as a true hippie, but more appealing to me. Just imagine that on the endless lawn under the sun, young people like the waves are topless and heartless, listening to songs, dancing, and smoking. This seems to be an extravagant hope that our Chinese youth cannot reach. . Chinese hippies may have been stereotyped from two thousand years ago when there were "five or six champions, six or seven boys, bathing in Yi, dancing in the wind, and returning home". . Do you still want to smoke together? Men and women candidly meet? Jump in the mud pit together? Let the spirit out of the body? Rolling the lawn? Look no further!

Ang Lee's rhythm is well controlled and the story is tight, but I'll only rewatch the 8 mile episode, it's so beautiful!

Anti-war, freedom and love. The parallel montage with the same position lens is unparalleled. The vortex of the grass field at night is the center of the universe, which has never been entered, and the light is dazzling around it. After all, it is manufacturing, not recording. I love Ang Lee, full marks.

Frank: Well, okay. We got a lot of dairy farms around here, right? And a fair number of bulls. Okay, you've all heard of the running of the bulls in that town in Spain, Pampoona.

    Elliot Tiber: Pamplona.

Frank: Well, no one's doing one in the Catskills. Seems to be a big draw over there.

Annie: It would be very amusing to see all those Jews from Levitsky's summer colony, you know, the ones with the black top hats and the curls, running for their lives chased by our local livestock. Wouldn't that be a wonderful sight!
