The blinking eyes from time to time and the corners of his mouth shaped the "jerk" temperament of Takeshi Kitano. It is said to have been caused by a car accident that left him with facial paralysis. After the accident, Takeshi Kitano created some paintings. These works have appeared in Hana and Kikujiro's summer. These paintings are also one of the products of Kitano Takeshi's reflection on his life. During the fireworks, the police officer who lost consciousness in his legs also used paintings to get rid of the depression caused by his disability and rethink the meaning of life. This has to be said to be a projection of Kitano Takeshi's thinking.
The crisp and neat violence in the first half of the fireworks is not earth-shattering, and the blood is bursting. This kind of silence and Kitano Takeshi's cold temperament have a unique atmosphere. But after robbing the bank, the hue of the fireworks turned to blue. A trip around Takeshi Kitano and his "wife" with melancholy tenderness. The child-like "wife" who suffered a mental breakdown due to the bereavement of her daughter showed Takeshi Kitano's tender and piercing side. This turn takes the film out of the gangster, drama, etc. genre categories, where violence and love are combined in one film (but not the kind where violence begets love, or love begets violence).
The coexistence of love and violence shatters people's fantasy of realistic romance. The plight of reality constantly erodes the insistence on goodness, and in the end, we have to exchange violence with violence, and maintain a dignified journey of death through seizing. Not long ago, an elderly man in Greece committed suicide in Syntagma Square in front of the parliament building because of financial crunch. Being trapped in material violence is a tragedy in itself. Who erects tombstones for those who go to the death to maintain their dignity? Who wrote their epitaphs? A person can wander aimlessly in the world in search of meaning, but how can a person abandon his dignity to live in the world?
Two shots from Takeshi Kitano brought the tragedy to an end. Hisaishi's soundtrack beats the audience's heart again and again with the horror of death.
It is cruel to talk about beauty after Xi Jiajing's death.
