love is always there

One of my favorite movies I watched twice in high school.
At the beginning of the film, the sun-lit pond glows with waves and ripples, and the waterfowl on the wooden boat flaps its wings. The sun may not be very bright, but it is very warm.
Norman is a retired professor who is seriously ill and has a bad temper. His wife, Ethel, is a gentle and pleasant old lady. The death of an old friend makes the two old people feel the approach of death and the crisis of aging. Occasionally, the child of the daughter's new boyfriend came to the villa by the pond and spent a while alone with Norman. Later events also resolved some of the estrangements between father and daughter in his father's twilight years.
Under the easing golden sun, we have watched these stories come and go. By the beautiful golden pond, death is no longer a painful thing - the grudge between father and daughter is resolved, and Norman has a sudden heart attack.
This movie has left the world with countless warmth and touching - to lovers, to children - love, in fact, it has always been there - it will not decline in the slightest because our years are gone.
One day, we will finally face the departure of others and ourselves, and hope that it is peaceful and safe.

Henry Fonda has made countless excellent films in his life, such as "War and Peace", "Lady Eve" and so on. "Golden Pond" was made by him at the age of 82. Henry Fonda was seriously ill and had a pacemaker when he was filming "Golden Pond". This was the last film of his long acting career. It also brought him the only golden statue in his life. It is a pity that when he was alive, he could not personally receive the golden statue that belongs to the best actor in the Oscar.
Compared with "My Fair Lady", Hepburn is obviously better at the role given to her in this film. She is not delicate or pretentious. She is a good wife, a good mother, and a good grandmother.
Jane Fonda—Henry Fonda's daughter, plays the role of Fonda and Hepburn's daughter in the film. It is also the only film she and her father have collaborated on. Therefore, the film between the father and daughter has resolved years of estrangement and has been passed down as a good story. .

Wisdom and unpretentious dialogue, I don't feel sleepy at all when I watch it in the middle of the night, the ultimate classic

Standard work but also lack of surprises. The first half is well laid out, but to some extent it also caused some sudden changes in the mood of some characters in the second half. The performance of the actor and queen is indeed accurate, but it is limited by people's settings. But the two images of wild strawberry and mandarin fish are very interesting. In contrast, Tony Erdman is indeed a more contemporary family movie.
