The comments on the overall direction of the work have already been made, and I just want to simply talk about the personal significance of "The Promise".
Creatures of different positions will check and balance each other because of their interests. Just like the human position and the "ghost" position in the animation, this season's animation is completely narrated and developed from the position of human beings. The follow-up will definitely add that "ghosts" need human brains. Certainly. Whether it rises to the scope of species, or narrows it down to people with different personalities, the miniature image shown in "Promise" is exquisitely embodied. So far, I've written a review after watching some of the movie reviews after watching the animation. The whole process was done in one go, and I haven't noticed any shortcomings of "The Promise".
The character that shines in the whole film must be the heroine Emma, who has achieved a good balance between personal wishes and the overall situation, emotions and reason. I don't want to go into how absurd this is for an 11-year-old. After reading a little about quantum mechanics, I think that nothing is impossible. If there is, look at it from a different perspective. Emma probably represents hope. In a world full of countless ugliness like Pandora's Box, there will always be people like Emma. What is the point of such hope? I thought it was "Superman". That is the man who contains all the virtues, all the good things.
Of course, that is only an ideal after all, but no matter how small the probability of becoming such a person is, efforts in this direction are essential.
