Had a movie like this over the weekend, absolutely enjoyed it.
Often, actors and audiences will know who is playing what role before a film is made. Except for unreliable literary films.
The strange thing is that this film is very reliable, strong logic, solid plot, full of characters, first-class commercial viewing, and of course the climax is stacked.
However, I just don't know the role arrangement, who is the kidnapper? Who are the hostages? Who are the police? I don't know, the audience doesn't know, the actors themselves don't know, they doubt each other, guess while watching.
Five old men who have lost their memory, sleeping in a closed space, do not know whether the other party is an enemy or a friend, and do not know whether they are righteous or evil. In short, to go out, to control each other, to find new friends. It doesn't matter who you were before, what matters is who you are now.
Both the past self and the future self are unreliable. If you lose your memory for a short time now, and get along with a room of people who have also lost their memory, the relationship in the past will be broken, and only yourself will be left.
Good movie, hehe, worth watching again.
