Mild spoilers
Maybe that's what the prison security in South Africa was like at the time, plus we've watched too many prison break movies now, so after watching this movie, there is a weird feeling. Here are a few points that I think are debatable.
1. Why are all the prisoners in the prison united, or that they know that the inmates will be tortured for several months after breaking out of the prison. The fat man also said this, and everyone ignored this in the end, and even offered to help.
2. In the end, when the Fatty Prison Guard put the toilet flusher back, how did the person who refused to leave be so precise? Let me say here that there is no need to shoot the shot in the toilet, I will vomit when I eat.
3. The criminals here should belong to the prisoners involved in politics. They can communicate freely here and even go to other people's rooms to chat. Are you not afraid to communicate again?
4. There is only one person on duty, that is to say, if you go for inspection, no one will open the electric door. And you can also listen to songs, creating perfect conditions for escape.
5. Where is the cloth package with many keys hidden? Why are there only a few disassembled parts for so many keys? Why isn't the gate guarded?
6. The prison guards are always inexplicably no longer asking questions. The actors' fear and tension are only shown by the violent ups and downs of their chests? I feel that Daniel is also aiming for a transformation, but he feels that what he is acting is a shortcoming.
Originally, I thought that the rigor of the plot of this movie was at the level of elementary school students, but the final subtitle said it was a real thing, and slapped me in the face, so back to the original sentence, the security may have been like this at the time.
