The film's interpretation of sid can be regarded as the Iceberg of Sex Pistols. To what extent did the British depression after the war stimulate the spirit of punk. Compared with love, Sid and Nancy are more like an indulgent dependence. Roaring, violence, and drug use constitute the basic mode of getting along. It is not difficult to imagine dying. The film didn't show, or didn't want to show, Sid's dedication to music or trying to get out of a rotten life. The filming of the film is as punk spirit as punk. Not a complete narrative, rough camera performance, straightforward stacking, desperate and indulgent. Whether Nancy was killed by Sid or not doesn't seem to make sense. Kissing in the rubbish venue, Sid being released on bail and meeting the brand-new Nancy looks more intriguing.
Nothing is deliberately advocated or suppressed. Just like a documentary, it just presents a story, a punk symbol, the birth and destruction of a punk logo. Life is meaningless, why do you have to see something in the film.
