sid & nancy~~ unspeakable love

sid & nancy was the last movie I watched before school started, and there was an indescribable desolation in my heart.

I don't know why, but I can totally understand the love between these two people, it's absurd, crazy, and desperate.

Punk's life can be like this, crazy, in tattered clothes, with nails and chains all over, screaming and chaotic life - gigs, alcohol, drugs, women.

Of course, I don't understand punk, and I don't understand the punk spirit of bullshit.

However, I can understand this kind of love.
Love kills. This sentence is not false. You can fall in love so much that you can't wait to swallow each other with heroin. These have nothing to do with rock, sex pistols, and everything. Just a love.

Nothing matters, only you.
Nancy, willful exhaustion, also dragged down this only love.
sid, dragging a hopeless body, love has become his all.

She hid in his shadow with heroin and her innocent cruel lust and stubbornness, loved him, kissed him, stroked him over and over, told him he was a genius.

He takes her love and heroin and fucks with her because he knows he's a genius even if he's not a kid anymore but still a genius.

The final result is not important. Both for the film and for them.
Dagger, ending the era of punk.

About the Sex Pistols, about the punk, I can't find the right words to describe it.
However, the love between Sid and Nancy is real and the most unrealistic.

Love, after all, cannot be the fulcrum of life. Punk or rock, let alone.
Because the result is obvious, it will be short-lived madness and endless despair.

Sid finally wanted to go back to England and live a normal life, as did Mark in "Trainspotting". However, everything seemed so impossible. A lot of things can't be turned around.

Let's die together, you promised me. Nancy's desperate roar, willful quarrel, ended with death. sid has no choice, no turning back.

Love, there is no turning back. Like, death.

PS: The above words were written two years ago. At that time, there was still a lot of prejudice against PUNK.
Now I think everything is good, whether it's PUNK, rock, pop, or trash. In fact, it's all the same, and each has his needs.
And love, all that's left in my mind may be the absurd.
