A large part of the success of this drama depends on Mr. Thornton's deepness, the perfect combination of actors and characters, and there is a kind of pitiful strength in aesthetics. Honor, responsibility and love, this is a man who knows the hardships of life, and always hides his true emotions. Perhaps too much pragmatism and rigor led to his unromantic, but the director found an actor with such a good temperament to make up for the surface. Because of the shortcomings of the above, another gentleman with a kind and fragile heart but strong self-support turned from words into images, and it was more beautiful than imagined.
The South and the North are different no matter which country they are in. No one can tell which is better and which is worse. I still remember a line I saw somewhere, where there is you is heaven. The meaning of home is not the location. You are here, and I am there. That's fine.
