4 stars. I remember watching this movie because I have been watching "Roman's Tale" recently. History books are full of specific people and events, and the movie brings these imaginary scenes into reality. Since this piece of history is epic, even though the film is 4 hours long, the plot is still incoherent. If you don’t know the history, you will feel that the transition in the middle is rather stiff, but after reading the history, you can make up your own mind. In addition, I admire the level of shooting in the 1960s to this extent. The scenes, costumes, and makeup are all very sophisticated, and after watching the film, I have a very specific impression of the ancient Romans. And Cleopatra's two love stories add a touch of color to the dull history. I have to admire that Taylor is really beautiful and has an unsurpassed feeling. It is highly recommended for viewers who like Roman history or just beauty.
