The WAR between Two Men

Watching "Footprints" is like walking through a small labyrinth, and it is like playing a killing game. You don't know who is leading who, who is the police and who is the bandit. Jude Law went from the first defeat, to the dominant game in the midfield, and indulged in the game he directed. The detective he's got the upper hand, playing with Micheal Caine and having fun! In the end, the story has been tangled in capriciousness, one of your hearts has been hanging, you don't know how it will end, don't know whether JL wins or MC wins the game. Just as you were guessing left and right, a bang ended all your doubts. JL's death seemed to be expected, but it brought a burst of surprise, surprised by the ingenious arrangement of the story. The whole movie, just the two of them, is the most distinctive movie I've ever seen.

21_038. 3.5. Look at the old version to see the remake. The actors and music of this version are very good, but it is really not as good as the original version. It’s changed a bit, the atmosphere and performance are still better in the old version (of course the actors here are also very good

"Go and see the footprints, I think you'll like it." (As long as he says, I'll watch it.) Alternation of sadism and masochism.

Sleuth quotes

  • Andrew Wyke: What sort of parts do you play?

Milo Tindle: Killers, mostly. Sex maniacs, perverts.

  • Andrew Wyke: So you're not well-known.

Detective Inspector Black: No, I'm a common-or-garden copper. Just catch sex criminals, perverts.

    [sniff]

    Detective Inspector Black: Homicidal maniacs.

Andrew Wyke: And what do you do with them when you catch them?

Detective Inspector Black: I generally cut their balls off.

    [laugh]
