There are three sets of angles, Claude and Raphael and the Raphael family, Claude and Gilman, a French teacher, and Gilman and his wife Jenna. First, Claude narrates the main body, Gilman and Jenna are in the position of pure readers; then through the behavior of stealing the test paper, Gilman participates in Claude's story and becomes a real accomplice. When he was young, Gilman had all the qualities of Claude, except for his fatal imagination. He helped Claude enter Tuoye, Dickens, Flaubert, etc., and taught him the tension and conflict of writing, which actually originated from the Narcissus complex that was once "ideal self". According to Chackman's classification, Claude becomes a covert narrator, because since Gilman steals the test paper, Claude has gone from simply observing the middle class as both a narrator and a direct participant, and even rudely rejects the reader's status. Gilman and Jenna's relationship is in jeopardy at this point. Jenna sees the same repression and awareness in Isdell, and suspects her husband's sexual desire for young Claude. A very good-looking Ou Yung movie. The viewing experience is very good. I especially like the first half to influence reality through the intervention of reality in literature. However, the overlap of reality and fiction in the second half did not make me fall into peace like "Poolside Murder". Dizziness, it would be better if you can play a bit more presumptuously on the bridge such as hanging suicide, and at the same time, the year-end romance is handled slightly sloppily. The final scene is great. The soundtrack is great.
