After watching four Korean zombie films, talk about your thoughts

After watching four Korean zombie films, the following is my personal opinion:

1⃣️《Train to Busan》⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I watched it four or five years ago, and it was also the first zombie movie I saw (maybe it affects my personal feelings for this reason?) I always remember that when I watched this movie, my nerves kept breaking down, and after watching it, I felt that the characters were full. , everyone's motivations and final decisions are touching.

2⃣️《Seoul Station》⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I like the reversal design very much (no spoilers), the ending is a good choice to focus on the three people, the fate of the little people is sometimes more amazing than the far-fetched sublimation theme. However, I feel that some of the plots are a bit procrastinated, which may be the reason why the animation has less impact on the picture.

3⃣️《Alive》⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Alive" begins with an ornamental, but also prone to extreme discomfort.

At the beginning, the self-isolation under the epidemic is very real, but the process of foraging for food and the two-person turn has a little protagonist aura. The male and female protagonists can't wait for a drop of blood on their bodies. Zombies also need to watch the plot, sometimes their IQ is online, and sometimes they are nothing.

That uncle drugged and wanted the heroine to be the food for his wife who had turned into a zombie. If he really wanted to be the food, the amount of the drug would be almost zero? It's only enough to tie the male and female lead, why bother? There are too few touching details, because the existence of the protagonist's halo makes people lack a sense of substitution. Zombies eating zombies is really too hot for the eyes.

The design at the end is very clever, from the recorded vcr to the word "alive". In general, there is a sense of design at the beginning and the end, and the middle is confusing.

4⃣️ "Train to Busan 2: Peninsula" ⭐️⭐️

When I watched it, I thought that the director might have a dream of filming "The Fast and the Furious". The plot design is unreasonable. The male protagonist is a bit like Mr. Pan Yueming, but he has almost no expressions. A bit of a mess.

The comparison between the second part and the first part has been posted before, so I won't go into details here.

Looking forward to more moving movies.

Nothing, no wonder. Every plot point is picking up people's wisdom and disregarding the rationality of all behavioral logic. In terms of mode, it is not as good as the more entertaining "Extreme Escape". The male and female protagonists are constantly being stupid, and each has a halo, just like the possession of Zhao Zilong in Changshan, coming and going among the zombies freely and unscathed. The viewpoint is narrowed, but there is no empathy for the characters at all, so the whole film is like a huge unfinished work, continuing to consume people's enthusiasm for "Train to Busan". It seems to presuppose that the audience has a reserve knowledge of zombie movies, but the human level has not been able to output any really tenable themes. I still create in the old thinking, and I have only tasted the use of new media and new equipment. It is undoubtedly a fake blockbuster during the epidemic, or don't let your eyes come in contact with this virus. Yoo Ah-in, please cherish feathers.

If you describe the IP of "Travel in Busan" as a large-scale game with a magnificent world view and a lot of background knowledge before you start, then "Alive" will be closer to the old-fashioned web/stand-alone game, and you can directly start the task. Follow the prompts to complete and score in a limited time. The overall simple and clean narrative rhythm is relatively flat and straightforward. It effectively highlights the central task of the two protagonists from saving their lives to escaping their lives together. It also reduces the possible digressions caused by excessive sensation to a certain extent (even in some moments in the film). It also includes the first time the two talked with someone who was cautious and even a little sweet and cute, or a man who made sacrifices for his wife). The personalities of two characters who are accustomed to confined spaces are therefore naturally filled with fear, and the "so close, so far" between the first floor, all settings serve the word "alive". It is not innovative enough or "refreshing", but it does what it needs to do as much as it can.
