#"Madman Pierrot"-1965
Jean-Luc Godard
I watched it twice in total.
It can only be said that people who do not understand are easy to sleep. In other words, the way to watch popular movies is not suitable for this "Confessions of Godard."
Linear narrative with occasional flashbacks. Emotional structure combined with the story. But it doesn't affect the story. The truth is true, and analysts are more willing to interpret the film from an emotional level. Fantasy - freedom - bitterness - escape - attempt - destruction. A large voice-over guides the audience to understand the director's thoughts. A few words per sentence are enough to connect the storyline in an empty shot. Emotional changes are the key to the development of the plot, and the director did not prepare the script before shooting. When we do not understand, we may understand the pleasure of understanding.
There are several shots that interact with the audience. Music and singing and dancing are also very enjoyable.
"Don't judge art lightly."
The old man who put Varda's pigeon in "Face Village", it turns out that he is so eager to be known by the world.
00:06:16 Use a solid color filter to show the terrible relationships around Ferdinand. He walked around, not a single topic appealed to him. With a director who can only communicate through a translator, Ferdinand asked, "I've always wondered what the essence of a movie is." The director said, "A movie is like a battlefield. Love. Hate. Action. Violence. Death. Summarize in one word. , is emotion." Ferdinand then began to yearn for an ideal life, which I define as escape.
00:44:00 On the beach, their emotions reached a climax. The camera is continuously raised from top to bottom, perpendicular to the sky, aimed at the dazzling sun.
01:03:20 The camera is on Ferdinand's upper body, and he realizes that this isn't actually the life he wants. He wants to escape. Marianne might know.
01:16:22 Sitting alone on the rails. Start to rediscover yourself.
- He is still writing a diary.
-Because writing can dispel the shadows that surround it.
01:21:22 See also Marianne. Delusion once again took over his sanity.
01:37:20 Marianne cheated on Ferdinand and eloped with others.
01:39:20 The madman tells Ferdinand about his life.
01:44:29 Ferdinand kills Marianne and her lover.
01:49:04 Before committing suicide, he felt that he could still be rescued.
Political metaphor:

The American penetration of French films, which featured two directors who came to France to make films, as well as U.S. Navy soldiers.
