Soldiers who took off their uniforms had to face social discrimination and misunderstandings from their families. At that time, people looked down on war a little, maybe just like the soldiers before joining the army, thinking that war is horse riding and bayonet, a bit of the romance of knights. I didn’t understand war in peacetime either.
