So far, the most impressive scene is that the married woman Maria seduces the doctor, but the latter is unmoved, and once called the former to the mirror, and compares Maria's changes before and after. In the doctor's opinion, Maria's face is still beautiful and moving. But his eyes have changed drastically. The previous Maria was simple and natural, her eyes were firm and straight forward, and she was firm and thick with a loud voice. But now, her eyes are erratic, fluttering and dodging, never staying on the other side for a moment; especially now the wrinkles under the corners of her eyes are cruel and her face is pale.
