What a pure French film!

What a pure French film! Reminds me of the golden age of French cinema. In this colorful era, the director boldly adopted the black and white film method. There's no color, but the black-and-white film shows subtle tones, yes, the nostalgic ones. Paris seems to have gone back decades in this hue. I vividly remember how splendid the bridge from Place de la Concorde to the Invalides was, and how the statues gleamed golden in the sun. But in the black and white world, the bridge becomes somber and elegant. Oh, that beautiful city has renewed its elegance!
See the tall women and short men on the poster? When the two met for the first time, the director deliberately arranged for the woman to stand on the steps, and the man raised his head and talked to her for several minutes. The reason why French beauties are famous all over the world is the credit of French films. I haven't seen so many beauties on the streets of Paris, but if you've seen French movies in the black and white era, you'll find that all French women are so elegant and beautiful that you don't notice the ugliness of French men at all.
