Can't say bad, just disappointed

If this movie is a reboot of the pure blood film such as Death, Deadly Bend, and Human Skin Inn, I think it can score 7 points or even higher.

But when I look at this film, the focus is on suspense, and the blood plasma is just the highlight that increases the visual impact, but the whole film is basically flat and straightforward, and there is no reversal at the end. Before the flashback, the puppet has already hinted that the male protagonist's father will die. It's a little small. It's amazing, but I actually feel sorry for this classic bgm, but it may also be because the ending of the first part is too impressive, so the expectations for this restart are too high. Some people say that this one has nothing to do with the first 7, it is a new reboot, so there is no need to inherit the values of Jigsaw. But there are so many places in the film that pay homage to the previous work, I really can't help but bring in the impression of the previous work. And to be honest, after Jigsaw's death, his disciples basically didn't follow the rules of Jigsaw in the movie, and they were all cold, so just because it's a reboot, I'm even more looking forward to someone who truly inherits the spirit of Jigsaw. The characters come out (it's all said to be restarted, and I can accept the resurrection of the old jigsaw...), instead of simply playing all kinds of bloody games under his skin.

But what I most hope is that there is a suspenseful reversal that is worthy of the ending bgm like the first one.
