The film in 1995, when I was still in elementary school.
I don't remember when I watched it, but it's still my childhood. This movie was the only movie that left a deep impression on me in my childhood. Later, I bought a disc and watched it more than a dozen times.

Now that there are more than 30, there are not many movies that I can remember as a child, and "The Little Princess" definitely ranks first.

The little princess in the film is named Sarah. Lived in beautiful India with the Admiral's father since childhood. It is a magical place, unrestrained, free and natural, accompanied by various animals, in perfect harmony with nature, and filled with magical colors. However, due to the outbreak of the war, the admiral's father was going to participate in the war and had to send Sarah to a women's foster home in the United States. Before leaving, his father gave Sarah a doll, named Emily, and told her that Emily would always be with her. Sarah is a polite and well-bred girl, but because of her unfettered life since childhood, she is natural and true, speaks directly, and often questions the so-called rules, because she is not liked by the dean of this foster home. But also because of her bravery and kindness, and her ability to speak and love to tell stories to her friends, she has made many good friends, including a little black girl who is a servant.

But the good times didn't last long. At Sarah's birthday party, the dean received the news that sarah's father died in battle, so the dean of the force did not even let Sarah finish the birthday party. Working here together to pay off her previous tuition.

The sudden turn of the plot made Sarah sad, not because of the injustice she was treated, but because of her deep nostalgia for her father. She is very sensible to integrate into the new role, cleaning, grocery shopping, and serving other former friends. But her kindness, inner courage and strength are still there.

The dean who disliked Sarah even took away the last thing her parents left behind - the necklace, saying that she was not worthy of wearing it. However, Sarah's former friends planned an operation to help Sarah get the necklace back. However, during the successful celebration of the operation, they were discovered by the witch headmaster. The dean put Sarah in confinement and fined her not to eat for three days.

Sarah and the little black servant used imagination to keep themselves from feeling hungry, depicting a rich feast and beautiful clothes, just as they used their imaginations to satisfy their hunger and slowly fell asleep, the Indian master next door helped them turn their imaginations into became a reality. However, when they woke up, they were discovered by the dean, who said they were thieves.

In desperation, Sarah had no choice but to walk to the next door to hide, only to find out that the owner of the wound was actually her father who lost her memory. In a hurry, he did not care to expose himself, hoping that his father would recognize him. Finally, the amnesiac father was still infected by his daughter's affection and recognized Sarah.

In the end, the little princess naturally became a princess again, and the witch ended up as a chimney sweep.

This movie is a beautiful fairy tale, there are good and evil, real dirty, and ideal beauty, and there are fantasy colors in the middle. It brought to my childhood the notion that good is always good, and evil must be dead.

The young actors acted very well, and the sense of substitution was particularly strong. Reminds me of Sarah, and there is that beautiful, kind, true, brave girl who is not afraid of power, has no concept of class, always believes in beauty, and pursues beauty.

Yes, such girls are little princesses.
