This is probably something that all of us living in reality cannot do, right? When little Sarah asked Mrs. Amanda Minchin such a rhetorical question, my first reaction was surprise. Don't say that Mrs. Amanda Minchin is a veritable real-life person whose interests are real. Even when I was a child, I never really believed in the so-called magic, and never believed in any beautiful miracles, because miracles almost never happened. However, I admire Sarah's innocence and frankness, and I really envy it. Mrs. Amanda Minchin's sentence is true to a certain extent: "That's rather easy for a child who has everything." When Sarah's father died on the battlefield and confiscated all his property, Sarah lost her noble status as a princess in an instant, and even even She herself once stopped believing in magic because her dear Papa was never coming back. Fortunately, because of the sincerity and encouragement of a group of girls who are just as lovely as her, she once again stepped into the hopeful imagination. She can tell Mrs. Amanda Minchin aloud "I am a princess" without fear, and she is still elegant and noble at heart.
Sarah is a kind and individual girl, she is not bound by those strange and complicated rules and regulations, she can express her true thoughts at will, and can even change the plot of Charlotte's novel, giving her a beautiful fairy tale ...even in the face of Mrs. Amanda Minchin's sharp eyes that could almost stare people to death, she did not flinch at all, but she was able to refute her gently and politely. At this time, I often can't help feeling, I feel ashamed and feel ashamed, thinking that I have followed the rules since I was a child, and have never thought about life outside the rules. No wonder my head is so stupid... 囧
Watching these lovely princess-like children excited and happy because of a beautiful and thrilling fairy tale, I suddenly want to be as carefree as they are.
- 1995 version of A Little Princess (Liesel Matthews's performance is excellent, beautiful and elegant little princess. She has a lot of emotional outpourings that can't help but be moved.)
