don't run away

Finally saw Demon slayer: kimetsu no yaiba the movie: mugen train in North American Village with friends. The audience applauded at the end.

I have been waiting hard since pv, and today I finally fulfilled my wish, so I am even more emotional. As a commercial film, Demon Slayer's Infinite Train has been very successful. The adaptation of ufo has been done with all my heart, but unfortunately the flaws in the original plot were not as good as I expected.

Theatrical production is the best of the best. Speaking of dubbing and action scenes, every fight is remarkable. Purgatory is worthy of you, every time he draws a knife, he is so handsome that it makes people breathless. The most exciting is the decisive battle of the top three. Every scene is unambiguous. It is the most primitive and blood-sucking confrontation between fists and knives. Ufo tried his best to create the special effects of every breath, and the roaring flames on the knife were quite shocking.

While unambiguous, the action scenes also add a lot of details that the comics ignore. One is to see how Purgatory is injured a little bit in the fight, from the forehead to the left eye, which is heartbreaking and admirable at the same time.

After reading it, there is one more thing I like, ufo especially describes the sun wheel knife of purgatory, from the blade pattern to the handle, it shines with a sharp light. Purgatory's knife and knife are quite refreshing, and the sound of the knife entering the scabbard is neat, which makes the Yanzhu sassy.

Not to mention the voice acting. Pingzi's performance was exceptionally splendid, sick and distorted, and he had never heard such a voice. Brother Cong is so handsome, he tried so hard at the beginning, but when he speaks later, it makes people feel at ease, and the thought of these two famous lines makes me emotional now. The performance of the fish cake team trio is still perfect. I saw someone say that half of the last cry was because of Huajiang's cry. I agree so much. This time, Huajiang's interpretation of Tanjiro can be said to be painstaking. In the end, Tan questioned the top three, almost giving his heart and liver, hatred, despair and unwillingness to perform the whole performance, which was very powerful.

In contrast, there are places where there is no atmosphere due to excessive force. The soundtrack is one of them.

The soundtrack has no personality. It's that you can't remember anything after listening to it, and you can't distinguish the scene. I feel like there are very burning strings all the time, but I can't remember it when I think about it. Only the top three electric guitars can be remembered. The tail sound of the electric guitar is matched with the lightning-like killing array, which is a little more inhuman and rebellious.

Sometimes I feel that the soundtrack is deliberately provocative, but it destroys the atmosphere. For example, in the dream, the youngest brother said not to go for a while, the soundtrack was too grand, obviously it was Xiaojia's heartbreak, but abruptly played a flavor of the end of the chaotic world, which covered the performance of the seiyuu. After discussing it with my friends, both of them felt that it would be better not to use background music here. In the fight between Shangsan and Purgatory, there is a period of silence, and the effect is very good. It is a pity that the sound supervision is not used much. Here, just leaving Koga Aoi's cry and Huajiang's reluctance to amplify the entanglement in Tanjiro's heart can make the feelings more precious.

The timing of the insertion of the theme song performed by LiSA could have been earlier.

Then back to the original question.

In fact, I was looking forward to crying a lot before watching it. My tears were very low. I thought it was not easy. After watching it, I didn't cry. One is that the role of Big Brother Purgatory is still too small. Two memories, my father and my mother, were not enough to make me feel the entanglement that purgatory once had. (The part about my father is very short. Just watching the theater, I don’t know what festivals they have, and I can’t understand the indifference of my father, so I still feel inexplicable about his performance.) I feel that he is more like a god and has no sense of reality. It's not that the divinity is not good, it's just that a work like Ghost Slayer's Blade that focuses on describing "human life is limited but can also reach the extreme", the divinity will make the audience and readers feel a sense of distance. Personally, I can't empathize because of this, and the performance is that I can't cry.

If Gotoge Hu Shiqing can make Purgatory appear earlier, with a little highlight, and then at the home theater in the theater version, I may be able to understand him better.

What also kept me from crying was the dialogue. The problem with the original work, the theatrical version magnifies this shortcoming, and the focus of people's viewing is shifted. For example, Tan said to Shangsan that Mr. Purgatory did not lose, and it felt good to read the comics. The animation felt that Tanjiro really shouted for a long time, stop shouting, and go back and take a look at the injury of the elder brother. For example, when Purgatory left the stage, Tan immediately cried and asked if I could become a person like Big Brother Purgatory. His remorse was understandable, and the next sentence "Can I be as great as Big Brother?" I still don't understand how I came to such a conclusion. I still regret it for one second, how can I think about it the next second, and fast-forward to my future, can I be so powerful? Tanjirou also has a lot of such performances in the comics. He is still too divine and has no shortcomings. He is not like a 14-year-old protagonist because of his high consciousness.

Having said so much, I still feel that ufo has done its best. The chapter itself is too short to make drastic changes. Before I went, my friends and I also said to each other not to expect too much, not to set too high expectations for ourselves, and we had to pretend that it was not 30 billion. When they came out, the two faced each other, only sighing, regretting, regretting.

As a commercial film, the action scenes mentioned earlier have already made this work stand out.

Finally back to the work itself.

In the middle of the theatrical version, Mr. Purgatory said this, even if the lifespan is as short as a summer flower, the body cannot withstand the ravages of old age in the passage of day and night, and the knife marks will bleed in a moment, and if you are injured, you will lose half your life. Totter and totter, humanity remains strong and immortal. As he said, it is because of these weaknesses that the loveliness and nobility of human beings are highlighted, and the strength of human beings is to overcome the ultimate spirit. Cannibal demons who choose to escape and escape into the gate of hell cannot understand this belief. This theme was also what struck me the most about Ghost Slayer at the beginning.

Therefore, I will recommend it to all friends who are interested in Wang Dao works.
