This movie has a pretty high score, but I don't like it very much. What is worth affirming is the director's skill in scene scheduling. The picture has a very unique sense of beauty, especially the several dreams of Ivan, which are very beautiful. I don't like this movie on the narrative of this movie. There is no climax or inspiration in the narrative. The characters he creates are too culturally revolutionary and not very successful. Each character has no edges and corners, and they are all flat and very Soviet characters. Looking at the whole movie, it feels a bit like a running account. I can't feel the hardships of the war. I want to resort to the hatefulness of the war through the experience of a young man, but after watching it, I don't feel it. To this young man, I treated him too adult, and I understand the original intention of the director, but the expression is less that. Kind of shocking. In Martha's role, the director's original intention was to add color to the theme by depicting the woman and his relationship with the Soviet officer, but he distracted the main character, which was counterproductive. Is this the last running shot obviously imitating the 400 strikes? Because the narrative is loose, the final expression is weakened.
