In the heart of the Amazon jungle, expedition scientists Turio (voiced by Rodrigo Santoro) and Linda (voiced by Leslie Mann) discovered the almost extinct wild blue Spix macaw. The couple announced this amazing news to the world through television. Pearl who saw this scene (voiced by Anne Hathaway) persuaded her husband Bru (voiced by Jesse Eisenberg) to bring three naughty and cute people who have become accustomed to life in a civilized world. The baby parrots return to their hometown where they have grown for thousands of years to find the same kind. The parrot family walked away and embarked on an air journey full of thrills and fun with their good friends. At the same time, an illegal logging group saw the news and quietly took action to prevent the Turio couple from obstructing their crimes. On the other hand, Nigel, the sunflower-crested cockatoo, who has been complaining with Bru for a long time, found Bru's trace and took action angrily.
