The story is well conceived, and there is a feeling of "the brokenness of the previous experience is for a better meeting in the future". And the story is originally a comedy full of broken and sad lives, but it is overflowing with the highest level of humanity. The best "hope" is this - just like the light of the sunrise that naturally shines on Hana hanging in the air at the end of the story, beautiful and ordinary.
Obviously everything is so complete, but I want to cry after reading it. This movie is so beautiful.
ps: I watched Jin Min's animations before, such as "Red Hot Chili Pepper" and "Millennium Actress", and felt that "weird" and "imagination" should be the label words of his works. Unexpectedly, the story background and animation processing techniques of "Tokyo Godfather" are so realistic. However, although the story seems realistic, there are reversals based on real life everywhere. This is probably the so-called "reasonable, unexpected" - it is the collision of coincidence and coincidence, reality and perfection intertwined. It was so beautiful.
