The fear that originally made it impossible for both parties to move, became vulnerable in the face of love. Make yourself brave and strong. When my wife picks up the chainsaw and runs to her husband, that look always attracts me.
What a struggle the husband made when he was about to slash his wife's infected arm with his sword. But the wife looked at him, her eyes full of determination to be with her husband forever, the pain of that sword was only short-lived.
In the end, the wife did not escape the bad luck of not being infected. The wife was spitting out blood, knowing that she was about to become a zombie, and looked at her husband with tears in her eyes. Husband picks up his wife and finally gives his beloved wife a kiss, no matter what she becomes, he loves her.
At the end of the film, they held hands, and the light in their eyes gradually dissipated. Darkness descended, and the prayers of the priest were blurred in my ears.
It's enough for them to be together.
